One of our specialities is introducing new people to the sport - we host hundreds every year, and the question is always the same once a session wraps up: "What do I actually need to buy to get started?". We always say your fishing rod is your passport. Get your first one and you're off into the fishing world.

So we thought we'd make it easy and pull together a few of the essentials worth having when you're starting out - salmon, trout, or both. Nothing more than you need. Tight lines, and we hope this takes some of the overwhelm out of it.
